We prioritize client-side processing. Most NutterTools utilities process data directly in your browser, meaning your sensitive information never touches our servers.

Privacy

Zero Tracking

We do not use invasive tracking cookies, fingerprinting, or third-party advertising scripts. Your workflow remains your business.

Security

Log Transparency

Our edge nodes maintain minimal technical logs required for security (DDoS protection). These are purged automatically every 24-72 hours.

01. Information Collection

NutterTools is designed to function with minimal data footprint. We do not require account creation for our core utilities. Any data you input into our conversion or formatting tools is processed in-memory and discarded upon session termination.

For services requiring credits to operate (premium APIs, specialized databases, or compute-intensive applications), we collect only the essential information needed to manage your credits and usage—typically an email address and usage metrics. Payment processing is handled by trusted third-party providers, and we do not store your financial information.

02. Account & Credit System

Account Creation

When you create an account to access credit-based services, we collect your email. This information is used solely for authentication and to track your credit balance across our tools and APIs.

Credit Usage

We track credit consumption to ensure fair usage of our premium resources. Usage logs contain timestamps, service accessed, and credits consumed—never the content of your actual data or API payloads.

API Keys

If you generate API keys for programmatic access to our services, these keys are stored encrypted and provide access only to the specific services you've enabled. You may revoke or regenerate keys at any time through your dashboard.

03. Data Retention & Deletion

Free tools: No data retention. All processing is ephemeral.

Credit-based services: We retain account information and usage history for the duration of your active account. You may request complete deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

API services: Request logs (endpoint, timestamp, status code) are retained for up to 30 days for debugging and abuse prevention. Payload data is not persistently logged.

04. Third-Party Services

Some NutterTools services may integrate with third-party APIs or databases to provide enriched functionality. When you use these services:

  • We only transmit the minimum data required to fulfill your request
  • Third-party services are vetted for privacy-compliant practices
  • You will be notified when a tool relies on external services

05. Encryption & Security

Transport Layer

All traffic is encrypted via TLS 1.3, ensuring a secure tunnel between your machine and our edge infrastructure—critical for both free and credit-based services.

Local Storage

Settings or preferences (like Dark Mode) are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. Authentication tokens for credit-based services are stored securely as HTTP-only cookies where possible.
